After allegations that Jammu & Kashmir High Court was not accessible for complainants, Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi on Monday said he will visit Srinagar and oversee the functioning of the court.
โIt is a very, very serious matter if people are unable to approach the High Court. I will myself visit Srinagar,โ the CJI said.

The J&K HC Chief Justice was also asked by the Apex Court to submit a report on whether it is accessible to the complainants or not following the abrogation of Article 370 and stateโs bifurcation.
โBe ready to face the consequences if the HCโs report is contrary to the plea,โ the CJI warned the petitioners.
Child rights activist Enakshi Ganguly filed the plea alleging difficulty in accessing the High Court.
