Popular Japanese wrestler Hana Kimura died at the age of 22 after becoming a victim of cyberbullying.
As per reports, the wrestler, who appeared in Netflixโs reality show Terrace House, posted images of self-harm and a suicide note on social media.
She also posted an alarming message along with the images on her Twitter account which suggested that she had been mercilessly trolled with abusive messages on social media.
โNearly 100 frank opinions every day. I couldnโt deny that I was hurt. Iโm dead. Thank you for giving me a mother. It was a life I wanted to be loved.
โThank you to everyone who supported me. I love it. Iโm weak, โm sorry. I donโt want to be a human anymore.

Japanese womenโs professional wrestling promotion Stardom confirmed Kimuraโs death.
โStardom fans, we are very sorry to report that our Hana Kimura has passed away. Please be respectful and allow some time for things to process, and keep your thoughts and prayers with her family and friends. We appreciate your support during this difficult time,โ it tweeted.
Kimura was a winner of Stardomโs 2019 Fighting Spirit Award.
She was one of the cast members of Netflixโs Terrace House which had been suspended recently due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The show follows three men and three women as they temporarily live together in a house.
