One more person tested positive for COVID-19 in Meghalaya on Thursday, taking the total number of cases in the state to 21.

Chief minister Conrad K Sangma on Thursday night in a tweet said a person, who had travelled from Haryana, has tested positive for the infection.

โ€œAnother person who had travelled from Haryana has turned out positive. Person is in Tura and under quarantine. Total cases: 21, Recovered: 12, deceased: 1, active cases:8,โ€ Sangma tweeted.

With the five new cases, the total number of COVID-19 cases in Meghalaya increased to 21.

On Wednesday five persons, who had returned from Delhi and Haryana recently, tested positive for COVID-19.
