Even though Tripura has witnessed an increase in the COVID-19 cases, the state, however, has witnessed a positive trend as far as recoveries are concerned.
The state has recorded a recovery rate of 80.62 per cent so far and a total of 1,019 COVID-19 patients have recovered in the state till date.

Tripura’s recovery rate, in fact, is far better than the national average which is of 54 per cent.
The BJP-ruled state, in fact, is among the top states of the country in terms of testing swab samples.
So far, Tripura has carried out an average of 14,757 tests per million population and the Tripura Health Department so far has tested 60,135 swab samples, of which 1,296 have been found to be positive.
