Bollywood actor Anushka Sharma and cricketer Virat Kohli named their first child Vamika.
The popular actress gave birth to her daughter on January 11 this year.
The actress took to Instagram to reveal her infant daughter’s name.
“We have lived together with love, presence and gratitude as a way of life but this little one Vamika has taken it to a whole new level! Tears, laughter, worry, bliss – emotions that have been experienced in a span of minutes sometimes! Sleep is elusive but our hearts are SO full. Thanking you all for your wishes, prayers and good energy,” Anushka Sharma wrote on her Instagram page.
Virat Kohli had announced the birth of his daughter on social media in which he thanked everyone for their love, prayers and good wishes.

He also spoke of the health of both mother and the baby being fine.
Soon after the announcement, several celebrities like Priyanka Chopra, Saina Nehwal and many more congratulated the couple on the arrival of their baby daughter.
Many celebrities also posted heart emojis on Anushka Sharma’s picture holding the baby with her husband Virat beside her.
