YouTuber Paras Singh, who stroked a massive controversy by calling Arunachal Pradesh MLA Ninong Ering โChineseโ has been sent to one-day police custody by the Court of Judicial Magistrate, Yupia.
Apart from calling Arunachal Pradesh MLA Ninong Ering โChineseโ, YouTuber Paras Singh had also questioned the Stateโs affiliation towards India in a video in his YouTube channel.

Paras Singh, hailing from Ludhiana in Punjab, was brought to Arunachal Pradesh capital โ Itanagar, by a team of the State Policeโs Special Investigation Cell, after a local court in Ludhiana granted them a transit remand.
The team of Arunachal Pradesh Police team, transporting Paras Singh, reached Itanagar late Thursday evening.
Arunachal Pradesh police after interrogating Paras Singh informed: โโฆhe made this controversial video on which the case has been registered, to gain widespread attention and views, so that his monetary income could be maximized. His motive was that he became enraged after reading HMLAโs letter about PUBG, as banning PUBG would have meant sure shot loss in income.โ

โMost of his videos are aimed at generating quick money,โ said SP of Special Investigating Team โ Rohit Rajbir Singh.
โOn an average accused Paras earns around Rs 20000 to 25000/- per month from his videos,โ SP of Special Investigating Team โ Rohit Rajbir Singh said.

Paras Singh was produced before the Court of Judicial Magistrate, Yupia on Friday via video conferencing and was sent to one-day police custody.
A case has been filed against YouTuber Paras Singh under sections โ 124A, 153A and 505(2) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
At least 10 complaints have been filed against Paras Singh in different police stations of Arunachal Pradesh.
In his YouTube video, Paras Singh had questioned Ninong Eringโs nationality saying that the Arunachal Pradesh MLA โdoesnโt look like an Indianโ.

Paras Singh also said: โHis (Ninong Ering) name does not seem like an Indian name.โ
The YouTuber also questioned Arunachal Pradeshโs affiliation towards India.
He said: โArunachal Pradesh is surrounded by China so people here are to large extent Chinese.โ
