National Institute of Design (NID) Jorhat Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or career of Sports Instructor in 2026.
Name of post : Sports Instructor (Part-Time)

Qualification & Experience :
1. Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) / Master’s degree in Physical Education (M.P. Ed.) from a recognized University/Institution.
2. Minimum 10 years’ experience in coaching, training, or conducting sports and fitness activities in educational institutions
Desirable Qualification :
1. Certification from recognized sports authorities/federations.
2. Experience in organizing inter-college/inter-school sports events and tournaments.
3. Ability to train students in multiple sports disciplines and physical fitness programs.
4. Association with educational institutes.
Job Roles :
1. Conduct sports coaching and physical fitness sessions for students.
2. Organize and supervise sports activities, tournaments, and fitness programmes.
3. Assist in selection and training of student teams for various competitions.
4. Ensure proper maintenance and utilization of sports equipment and facilities.
5. Perform any other sports-related duties assigned by the Institute.
Selection Procedure :
Candidates may appear for a walk-in-interview on 8th July 2026. Venue is in Conference Room, 2nd Floor, Administrative Block, National Institute of Design Assam, Tocklai, Rajabari, Jorhat–785014. Reporting Time: 10.00 AM.
