National Institute of Technology (NIT) Silchar Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or career of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for the
ANRF sponsored project in the Department of Civil Engineering entitled “Vibroacoustic response reduction in a functionally graded smart composite panel incorporating acoustic black hole effect through material gradation: A synergized computational and experimental approach” in 2026.

Essential Qualification :
M.E./M. Tech. degree in Structural / Structural Dynamics / Aerospace / Applied Mechanics /Mechanical Design Engineering or other specializations relevant to Structural Dynamics and Vibration Control, with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks or 6.5 CGPA at both UG and PG levels. Final year student whose final degree is awaiting are also eligible to apply, but they must produce Degree certificate at the time of interview.
