Age limit : Not exceeding 35 years.
Essential qualifications :
M.Sc. or recognized equivalent qualification with a first division in Biosciences/ Geology/ Physics/ Chemistry or an allied discipline in Earth Science. 03 years research experience in relevant discipline.
OR
Ph.D. in relevant discipline.
Desirable qualification/specializations:
Preference to the candidates having experience in the field of Paleontology (Invertebrate/ Vertebrate)/ Palaeobotany/Palaeogeography/ Micropaleontology, Palaeocenography, Ancient DNA/metagenomics, Planetary Geosciences/ Astrobiology, Geoarcheology, Archeobotany,
Paleoecology/Paleoclimatology, Palynology, Geochemistry, Applied dendrochronology: Integrating Palaeoclimates, Human Dynamics and Heritage Studies, Advanced applications of Artificial Intelligence and RS-GIS in Palaeosciences/Earth Sciences and/or other relevant disciplines, duly supported by publications of high standard in national/International journals, including post-doctoral research experience.
