Bajali: The All Assam Students’ Union (AASU) on Thursday staged a protest in Pathsala town against rising prices of essential commodities, demanding immediate government intervention to provide relief to consumers.
AASU activists gathered at the Traffic Point and raised slogans against the government over the rising cost of essential goods, which they said was increasing the burden on ordinary people.
The protesters demanded measures to control the prices of essential commodities and provide relief to the public.
The protest was led by Biddyut Das, president of the Bajali district unit of AASU.
