Cotton University Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or career of Project Assistant in the Department of Physics, Cotton University under an ANRF-ARG project entitled “Synthesis of Nano-engineered 2D Transition Metal Dichalcogenide by Fused Hollow Cathode Plasma: Applications in Flexible Pyro-phototronic Nanogenerator and X-ray Detector Devices” in 2026.

Essential Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Science with Physics as compulsory subject from recognized university.
Desirable:
Preference to candidate(s) having M.Sc. degree in Physics. Expertise in material synthesis or willingness to work on material synthesis and characterization and devise fabrication.
Remuneration: Rs. 27,000/- per month + 10% HRA as applicable
