CSIR- North East Institute of Science & Technology (CSIR NEIST) Jorhat Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or career of Project Associate-I (PAT-I) in the project entitled “Geodynamic and Geo-environmental studies of the Northeast India Region” in 2026.

Essential Qualification : MSc / MTech in Geology / Physics / Maths
Desirable : Preference will be given to candidates having knowledge of Coding and computation
Emoluments : Rs. 31,000/- per month+ HRA for CSIR-UGC/ICAR/ICMR NET or GATE
qualified & Rs. 25,000/- per month + HRA for others
Age Limit : Maximum age 35 years
Selection Procedure :
Candidates may appear for a walk-in-interview on 12th February 2026 from 10 AM onwards. Venue is in Recruitment Hall, CSIR-NEIST, Jorhat-6, Assam
