National Institute of Technology (NIT) Silchar Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or career of Project Associate -I (PA-I) for the ARG
(ANRF) sponsored project in the Department of Electrical Engineering entitled “Design and Development of a Multi-Port Split Fast Charging System for Low Voltage Electric Vehicles (LEV) with Enhanced Fault Tolerance and Cybersecurity” in 2026.

Essential Qualification :
B. Tech/B.E. in Electrical /Electronics Engineering from recognized university
Desirable Experience :
Candidates having M. Tech degree and having hands on experience in developing and working on hardware / laboratory prototype of the Power electronics converters will be given preference.
Salary : Rs. 37,000/- per month who are GATE/NET qualified else 31,000/-per month
Age Limit : 35 Years (as on closing date of application). Relaxation on qualification and age
SC/ST/OBC/WOMEN/PWD candidates will get relaxation as per Govt. of India Rules.
