Applications are invited for recruitment of 10 vacant govt job under Dergaon Co-District Assam in 2026.
The Office of Co-District Commissioner, Dergaon Co-District, Golaghat, Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the govt job of Gaon Pradhan in 2026 under Golaghat & Dergaon Revenue Circles.

Remuneration: Rs 14,000 (Rupees Fourteen thousand) only per month
Educational Qualification:
Candidates should be minimum 10th passed from a Board/Institution recognised by the State/Central Government.
Additional Criteria :
1. Candidate should be a citizen of India and a permanent resident of the area in respect
of which he/she seeks appointment.
2. Candidate should be physically fit and have sound mind.
3. Candidate should not get declaration as an insolvent or defaulter in payment of Govt. dues (furnish Bakijai Clearance Certificate).
4. Candidate should not be a government employee.
5. Candidate should not be a member of any political party.
6. Candidate should have land or immovable property in his/ her name in the area in which he/ she intends to be appointed as Gaon Pradhan.
7. Candidate should not have more than 2 (two) living children from a single or multiple
partner (in cognizance to Government of Assam Notification dated 19th July, 2019 vide No. RLR.187/2007/Pt/24).
8. Candidate should furnish a self-affidavit that the applicant does not have more than
two living children from a single/multiple partners.
Age Limit : Candidate must not be less than 25 years as on 1st January, 2026.
How to apply :
Candidates must submit their application in the prescribed form of application “Part IX of the Assam Gazette” only and no other form of application will be entertained.
Applicants have to submit their duly filled application along with other documents to
the RKG Branch, O/o the Co-District Commissioner, Dergaon Co-District, Golaghat till 30th June, 2026.
Applicants must also send the self-attested copies of the following documents:
1. Educational qualification Certificate, Mark sheet, Admit Card of HSLC.
2. Age proof Certificate (i.e birth Certificate issued by the competent authority or HSLC Admit Card/Certificates issued by the recognized Board/Council.
3. Three recent passport size colour photographs of size 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm with white background.
4. PAN Card.
5. Voter ID Card.
6. Small Family Norms affidavit/Self Declaration stating that the applicant does not have more than 2 (two) living children from a single/multiple partners.
7. Jamabandi in the name of the applicant/family member of the concerned village where he/she is applying for the post of Gaon Pradhan.
8. Permanent Residence Certificate (PRC).
9. Self-declaration stating that he/she does not belong to any political party and not a government employee.
10. Govt. dues and Bakijai clearance certificate.
