National Institute of Technology (NIT) Sikkim is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or jobs of Administrative Officer in 2026.

Qualification & Experience :
1. Master’s degree in any discipline with at least 60% marks or its equivalent grade in CGPA/ UGC point scale with good academic record from a recognized University/ Institute.
2. Minimum Three (03) years’ relevant work experience in Govt., Centrally Funded Organizations, PSUs, State Govt., or Semi-Govt. institutions
3. Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Office, Internet and e-mail, with adequate skills in noting, drafting, and preparation of official correspondence and documents.
Desirable: Candidates having experience as a Personal Assistant (PA)/Private Secretary (PS) in Central/State Government Departments, Centrally Funded Institutions, PSUs, Semi-Government Organizations, or in an equivalent capacity shall be preferred
Job Roles :
1. Provide secretarial and administrative assistance, including management of schedule, appointments, and meetings.
2. Coordinate official meetings, events, and tours.
3. Handle correspondence, files, and records with due confidentiality, including drafting and processing of communications.
4. Liaise with Ministries/ Departments, State Govt., and other stakeholders, and ensure timely movement and disposal of official files, including assistance in Parliamentary matters.
5. Handle public representations and VIP references, and perform any other duties assigned by the competent authority.
