TV actor Vibhu Raghave passes away after battling stage four colon cancer
Vibhu, whose real name was Vaibhav Kumar Singh Raghave, was a familiar face in the Indian television industry and had also appeared in shows like Savdhaan India.

Television actor Vibhu Raghave, best known for his role in Nisha Aur Uske Cousins, passed away on June 2 in Mumbai after a long and brave battle with stage four colon cancer.

He was undergoing treatment at Nanavati Hospital since his diagnosis in 2022. Vibhu, whose real name was Vaibhav Kumar Singh Raghave, was a familiar face in the Indian television industry and had also appeared in shows like Savdhaan India.

News of his demise was confirmed by close friends including Addite Malik and Saumya Tandon, who shared details of his funeral on social media. The antim darshan will be held on June 3 from 12:30 PM, followed by a funeral procession at 1 PM, from 11, Relief Road, Prakash Nagar, Dnyaneshwar Nagar, Jogeshwari West, Mumbai.

Paying tribute to Vibhu, Addite Malik wrote an emotional note on Instagram, remembering him as “the purest soul, a beacon of strength and positivity,” adding that his smile could light up any room. Actor Simple Kaul also shared a heartfelt post with his picture, writing, “You will be missed my dear friend,” while actor Karan Veer Mehra commented, “Rest in peace brother. Too soon.”

Despite his illness, Vibhu remained active on Instagram throughout his treatment, keeping in touch with his fans and well-wishers. He is survived by his mother, brother, and sister.

His close friends had been raising funds for his medical treatment, sharing multiple crowdfunding appeals on social media.

The last such appeal was posted on May 27, just a week before his passing, by Simple Kaul, Addite Malik, and others. The note described Vibhu as more than family and requested urgent help, stating that the hospital costs had become unmanageable and that every contribution could help save his life. They also thanked everyone for their continued prayers and support.
