Guwahati: Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan announced on Saturday that he was resigning as Union Education Minister, saying the move was intended to protect students’ future and prevent “anti-national forces” from misusing the large-scale youth protests at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar.
He announced the decision on X hours before the third round of talks between the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) and the Centre. Pradhan’s resignation was the main demand of the protesters.
