Guwahati: Actor and activist Prakash Raj is set to participate in a protest organised by the Cockroach Janta Party at Bengaluruโs Freedom Park in Karnataka on Sunday, as part of an ongoing Gen-Z-led agitation demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over alleged examination irregularities, including the NEET-UG 2026 paper leak case.
The development was confirmed through posts on social media platform X by both Prakash Raj and the organizers, who announced his participation in the upcoming demonstration in Bengaluru. The actor was earlier expected to join the groupโs initial protest in Delhi but had cited โprior work commitmentsโ for his inability to attend at the time.
In a post on X, the Cockroach Janta Party stated, โBig Announcement: Activist Prakash Raj Will Be Joining CJPโs Peaceful Protest at Bengaluru!โ signaling his presence at the planned gathering in Karnatakaโs capital.
The protest is part of a broader student and youth-driven movement raising concerns over alleged irregularities in competitive examinations, including NEET-UG, and demanding accountability from authorities. The organizers have framed the Bengaluru event as a peaceful demonstration seeking transparency and reform in the examination system.
