A 38-year-old youth has been arrested for allegedly molesting a woman in upper Assam’s Dibrugarh.
The youth identified as Ritu Nondeswar Sensua was arrested by Dibrugarh police on Wednesday evening after a video of the incident surfaced on social media, which went viral right away.

He was arrested from a bus terminus in Sivsagar town, when he was about to flee to Guwahati from Sivasagar in a night superbus.
“We managed to arrest accused Ritu Nondeswar Sensua alias Ritu Raj Gogoi from ASTC bus terminus in Sivasagar. From preliminary investigation, we got to know that he was involved in similar kinds of incidents earlier in Mumbai and Guwahati as well,” said a police official.
The incident took place inside the State Bank of India (SBI)’s Dibrugarh branch at Thana Chariali.

Police said Ritu Gogoi is a resident of Paleng in Sivasagar district.
The Branch Manager of the SBI Dibrugarh Branch has filed a complaint against the accused.
