NEW DELHI: Congress MP-elect from Jorhat Lok Sabha constituency in Assam, Gaurav Gogoi, has reaffirmed his and the Congress party’s commitment to protecting democracy and the Constitution.
Gaurav Gogoi stated that this dedication extends beyond the results of the Lok Sabha elections.
“Our resolution to save democracy, to save the Constitution, is not limited to the results of the Lok Sabha elections,” said Gaurav Gogoi, Congress MP-elect from Jorhat Lok Sabha constituency in Assam.
He added: “This is the resolution of our life, and the House is the most important place where we can perform our duties.”
He further expressed the Congress party’s intention to elevate the dignity of the House.
