Assam minister Bimal Borah, on Tuesday, said the two-day SPs conference will held at the oil town ofย Duliajanย from January 3 next year.ย ย 

Borah informed about this development while briefing the media at the Dibrugarh DCโ€™s conference hall on Tuesday.ย

He said that Assam chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma will also attend the conference.ย 

โ€œOver 120 police officers are going to attend the conference. Assam chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma will also participate in the two-day conference,โ€ Borah Said.ย 

He added: โ€œCurrent law and order situation in Assam will be discussed during the course of the two-day conference,โ€ Assam minister Bimal Borah informed.ย

The last Assam SPs conference was held at Kaziranga.ย 

โ€œAfter the first SPs conference in Kaziranga in June, no rhino poaching incident was reported from Kaziranga National Park,โ€ Borah said.ย 

He added: โ€œTop officials of Assam police will take part in theย Duliajanย SPs conference. ADGP, IGP, DIG will also participate in the discussion onย law-and-orderย situation in the state.โ€ย
