The Indian National Army (INA) war memorial at Moirang in Manipur’s Bishnupur district has been completed.
Moreover, the tallest flagpole in the Northeast has also been erected in Moirang.

This was informed by Manipur chief minister Biren Singh on Sunday.
“It is a matter of great pride that the INA war memorial at Moirang has been completed and the tallest flagpole in the Northeast States has been erected,” CM Biren Singh said.

He added: “I’m pleased to share that PM Narendra Modi will be handing over this historically significant museum to the people of Manipur.”
Moirang is a small town under Manipur’s Bishnupur district and is situated approximately 45 km south of Imphal.
Moirang holds immense significance in India’s independence struggle.
It was at Moirang where the flag of the Indian National Army (INA), led by Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, was hoisted for the first time on April 14, 1944.
