Meghalaya has registered one more COVID19 positive case on Monday, taking the stateโ€™s overall tally to 73.

Confirming the news, Meghalaya chief minister Conrad K Sangma on in a tweet on Monday said the patient, who came from Assam, tested positive for COVID19 at Tura in West Garo Hills.

โ€œOne more person who came from Assam has tested positive for COVID19 in Tura,โ€ chief minister Sangma tweeted.

With the new case, the total number of active COVID19 cases in Meghalaya stands at 29.

Earlier, a total of 43 COVID19 patients were discharged from the hospitals after they tested negative for the virus.
