If the problems like job losses are not resolved, then people may seek the resignation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, said Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut on Sunday.

โ€œPeopleโ€™s patience has a limit. They cannot just survive on hope and assurances,โ€ Raut said.

โ€œEven Prime Minister Modi will agree that even though Lord Ramโ€™s exile has ended, the present situation is difficult. No one had ever felt so insecure about their lives,โ€ he further said.

It may be mentioned here that around 10 crore people in the country have lost their livelihoods due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

In his weekly column Rokthok in the Shiv Sena mouthpiece Saamana, the MP further said, โ€œSalaried middle-class people have lost their jobs, while the trade and industry have suffered losses to the tune of about Rs four lakh crore.โ€

He further said that Israel is witnessing protests against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and there are demands for his resignation over the failure to tackle the COVID-19 pandemic and economic crisis.

โ€œIndia, too, could witness the same,โ€ the MP further said.
