COVID-19: Tripura records highest single-day spike with 275 cases

Tripura on Friday recorded the highest single-day COVID-19 positive case

Tripura on Friday recorded the highest single-day spike of COVID-19 cases, taking its overall tally to 5009.

A total of 275 COVID-19 cases were reported in the state on Friday, which is the highest single-day spike in the state so far.

On July 21, the state recorded 254 positive cases, which was highest till Friday.

A total of 7176 people were tested for COVID-19 on Friday.

The maximum number of cases were reported from West Tripura district, where 105 people tested positive.

So far, 21 people have died of COVID-19 in the state.

Interestingly, with 365 discharges, Tripura on Friday also recorded the highest single-day COVID-19 recoveries.
