The relief measure covers duplicate pass certificates, admit cards, marksheets and registration cards for the HSLC/AHM and Higher Secondary Final Examinations that were lost in the floods

Guwahati: The Assam State School Education Board (ASSEB) will issue duplicate copies of key academic documents free of cost to students affected by the recent floods in Charaideo, Sivasagar, Jorhat and Golaghat districts.

According to a notification issued by the board, the relief measure covers duplicate pass certificates, admit cards, marksheets and registration cards for the HSLC/AHM and Higher Secondary Final Examinations that were lost in the floods.

Students can apply online through the board’s official portals. Applications for duplicate HSLC/AHM documents can be submitted through the SEBA Services portal, while Higher Secondary students can apply through the AHSEC portal.

ASSEB has also relaxed documentation requirements by waiving the mandatory police report. Instead, applicants will only need to upload a self-declaration stating that their documents were lost in the floods.

The board said the fee waiver is a temporary relief measure aimed at helping affected students recover their academic records without financial burden.
