Assam Science Technology & Environment Council (ASTEC) Guwahati is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or career of Electrician, Electronics Technician and Woodwork/Carpentry Technician purely on temporary basis for a period of 11 months under Science City, Guwahati in 2025.

Minimum Experience (for all posts): 1 year of relevant experience in the respective field of work in a reputed organisation. Documentary evidence to be submitted. Basic computer literacy is desirable for all posts. Strong understanding of safety procedures and ability to read and interpret technical
instructions, drawings, and regulations.
Salary : Rs. 15,000/- per month
Age Limit: 18 – 38 years as on the last date of application submission.
Selection Procedure : Shortlisted candidates will only be called for a written test as well as skill test.
Job Roles :
The selected incumbents shall be primarily responsible for:
1. Installation, operation, and repair of [Electrical/Electronics/Woodworks] systems, facilities,
Exhibits and equipment of Science City Guwahati.
2. Routine maintenance of exhibition and institutional infrastructure.
3. Timely attendance to technical complaints and preventive servicing.
4. Assisting in technical operations of events and outreach programs.
5. Any other duties as assigned by the management from time to time.
