Assam State Space Application Centre (ASSAC) Guwahati is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or career of Accounts Assistant and Junior Field Assistant in 2026.
Name of post : Accounts Assistant

Essential Qualification :
Graduate in Commerce with major in Accountancy from any UGC / AICTE approved / recognized Institution / University or equivalent
Desirable Qualification :
PGDCA from any recognised University/Institution. Working knowledge of Tally ERP, GST, TDS, TCS, Income Tax Return filing, EPF, CPF, etc.
Experience :
Minimum 1 (One) year of relevant experience in handling accounts-related activities,
preferably in a Government Department /Autonomous Body/ PSU/ Organisation /Institution.
Name of post : Junior Field Assistant
No. of posts : 1
Essential Qualification :
HSSLC (10+2) with ITI Certificate in Surveying (Surveyor Trade) or equivalent
Desirable Qualification :
Knowledge in mapping, using GPS/GNSS tools, taking field measurements, and reading maps, walking wetlands and capturing geotags.
Name of post : Junior Field Assistant

Essential Qualification :
HSSLC (10+2) with ITI Certificate in COPA (Computer Operator and Programming Assistant) or equivalent
Desirable Qualification :
Knowledge in data entry, operating web portals, and managing spreadsheets usage of GIS software
Age: The candidate should not be less than 18 years and more than 38 years of age as on
01/01/2026.
Remuneration
For Accounts Assistant : Rs. 25,000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand) per month plus CPF, as applicable.
For Junior Field Assistant : Rs. 18,000/- (Rupees eighteen Thousand) per month plus CPF, as
applicable.
Selection Procedure :
The Walk-In Interview will be held on 29th September, 2026 (for Accounts Assistant post ), and on 6th October, 2026 (for Junior Field Assistant) from 11:00 A.M. onwards at the Assam
State Space Application Centre, Bigyan Bhawan (3rd Floor), G.S. Road, Guwahati -781005.
How to apply :
The candidate shall submit the application in the Standard Form of Application prescribed under Part IX of the Assam Gazette. A detailed Bio-data/CV may also be enclosed along with the duly filled-in Standard Form.
Candidates appearing for the Walk-In Interview shall bring the duly filled-in Standard Form of Application, along with self-attested photocopies of all relevant certificates, mark sheets, testimonials, experience certificates and other supporting documents.
