Publication Board Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or govt job of Accounts Assistant and Driver on contractual basis in 2026.
Name of post : Accounts Assistant
No. of posts : 1
Educational qualification: The candidate must be commerce graduate having minimum 50% of marks and must have diploma in Computer from Govt. recognised institutions.
Experience: Minimum 02 years working experience in any Govt/Private organization in the field of Accounts. He/She must have knowledge in Tally PRIME and Excel. CA (Inter) will get 20 marks extra.
Age as on 01-01-2026: Maximum age is 40 years. Relaxation of upper age is considerable as per norms of Assam Government.
Remuneration: Rs. 28,500/- per month with minimum @5% of annual enhancement of salary.

Educational qualification: The candidate must pass HSLC or equivalent examination from recognised Board and Driving License for driving Light Motor Vehicle issued by the competent authority under the Government of Assam.
Experience: Minimum 05 years’ experience in any Govt/Board/Corporation etc. under the Government of Assam.
Age as on 01-01-2026: Maximum age is 40 years. Relaxation of upper age is considerable as per norms of Assam Government.
Remuneration: Rs. 21,500/- per month with minimum @ 5% of annual enhancement of salary
