Guwahati: Harshit Bora, an outgoing Class XII Commerce student of Shrimanta Shankar Academy (SSA), Dispur, died after sustaining severe injuries in a road accident on Friday night.
According to a condolence message issued by his school, Bora met with the accident at around 9:00 pm while returning home from Down Town Hospital, where his grandfather was admitted.
He was rushed to the hospital following the crash, where he succumbed to his injuries at around 3:00 am on Saturday.
Bora, who had studied at the school since Class I, was the only child of his parents.
The school management, teachers, and student community expressed deep condolences to his family and friends following his tragic demise.
